Paid Time Off (PTO)
All employees begin accruing paid time off (PT0) at the completion of their initial training period and PTO may be used after three months employment. PTO leave shall be accrued every two weeks on a pro-rated basis based on the number of hours worked.

Retirement
ASC offers its employees a tax-sheltered annuity or (TSA) as a retirement planning program through Met Life. Eligible employees are those who have been employed with ASC for one full year and work a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week. ASC will match up to 6% of the gross salary. The employee is immediately vested, which means that should the employee leave ASC, the monies he/she had vested, plus ASC’s contribution, as well as the interest accumulated, go with the employee.

YMCA
ASC employees can join the YMCA in the month of May or October--at a discounted corporate membership rate. Membership dues are payroll deducted on a bi-weekly basis.

Scholarship Program
For staff working on furthering their education through a higher degree in a human services field or other field utilized by ASC, the agency offers a Scholarship Program. The number of applicants approved and the amount given will depend upon the funds available at the time of disbursement.

Life Insurance
An agency-paid $20,000 life insurance policy is available to Direct Care Staff who have been employed with ASC for nine consecutive months and work a minimum of 32 hours per week. All other staff (Administrative, Residential and Community Managers, RN’s, LPN’s and Service Coordinators) who work a minimum of 32 hours per week are effective the first day of the month following their hire date.

AAA
ASC employees can join AAA at substantially discounted rates. ASC offers an open enrollment each year for employees to join.

Incentives
Autism Services Center offers a generous program of additional incentives.

Referral Bonus
Employees of ASC who refer another applicant to work as DCS will receive a referral bonus. Once the referred staff successfully completes training week, the referring employee will receive $50. After the referred staff completes 3 months of satisfactory services and is released from probationary status, the referring employee will receive $100. After 1 year of satisfactory service, the referring employee will receive another $100. This opportunity is open to all current direct care staff, administrative staff and service coordination. The Personnel Department and supervisors of DCS are not eligible to receive this bonus.

Supported Employment Referral Bonus
The Supported Employment program allows ASC to offer an incentive to any employee making a referral to the ASC Supported Employment Program that leads to paid employment for an ASC client. If the referral to a business is successful and an ASC client is hired, the ASC employee will receive $100 after the client has been employed for one month. After six months of continued employment, the employee will receive another $100.

Credit Union Membership
Employees may join the Huntington C&O Railway FCU. Services include payroll deducted savings, Christmas & vacation clubs, and loan services.

Staff Recognition
Each year, ASC celebrates those staff reaching 10, 15 and 20 years of employment with the agency. A reception is held in April of each year to celebrate these milestones.

Bereavement Leave
Eligible employees are those that have worked at ASC for one year and have averaged 32 hours per week. Paid time off not to exceed three days for a death in the employee’s immediate family.
